You must have a solid Link / Sync / ADSL / CD / (Netgear icon) in order for your ADSL service to work.

Isolation Test
What this means is to remove all devices on your phone line besides the modem. Filters and other devices can be faulty and cause your modem not to get sync.

You need the following to connect to the internet;
1. An active provisioned service
2. Modem sync
3. The correct username/password in your modem
4. No interfering devices
